Our comrade has a dream. Of a world without corruption, politicians and capitalism. Without people with power, abusing all around them to make a profit.

Our comrade is active in the ZSP and other grassroots groups, since organizing from below forms the basis of the movements which can one day oust such politicians from power.

ZSP is in a state of war with the politicians and bosses who are ruining our lives. In the city of Warsaw, as support for the ruling president is crumbling and more and more people are expressing their anger about her disastrous policies, the city needs a ”threat”, someone to scapegoat, a way to make people scared.

How convenient it would be to have a deranged anarchist ax murderer to arrest. Unfortunately, the city does not really have one. But don't worry: for the purposes of the authorities, our comrade will do just fine.

The city, faced with numerous scandals, suits and public protests, (many spread by the ZSP) got lucky, as the comrade joined in one day with outraged internauts criticizing the President. In a moment of internet indiscretion, the following occurred:

There was a discussion on Facebook related to the decision of the city to cut down the trees in Krasinski Garden in Warsaw, called “revitalization” of the park. This decision was highly unpopular and controversial; it turned out that the city awarded many contracts to one company to rid the city of thousands of trees. Somebody wrote: ”after the revitalization of Krasinski Garden, let's revitalize the city office, using the same methods ;)”. Another person replied that she is going to look for blade sharpeners. That's when our comrade joked “A lumberjack competition in City Hall – that would be something! I had this dream that I had the chopped off head of HGW (the president) in my hand and I was showing it to the crowd outside the palace”.

Although many people make such comments all the time, the president's office wasted no time in informing the Prosecutor of the situation. If charges are pressed, it is a felony crime.

Internauts, activists and journalists around Poland have condemned the actions of the president's office, comparing this to an Orwellian scenario or to the type of repression seen during the PRL regime. Thousands of people have spoken out or shown some sort of solidarity, such as the subversive “festival of dreams” about the president, in which facebook users tell their own dreams about the president. http://www.facebook.com/events/353507401434744/
