On August 19, 2011, the General Syndicate of the FAU Berlin held a solidarity rally at the Berlin office of the Visteon / Ford company in the district of Zehlendorf. The rally began at 14:00 clock, just in time for the shift change. There were around fifteen comrades, with several flags, a big banner and leaflets to many to give the workers from Visteon / Berlin about the plans of the company management in El Puerto de Santa Maria.

As you will have seen from the media coverage there has been riots across Britain. That riots have taken place is not surprising as large sections of the British working class live in poverty and social deprivation. Many working class communities in Britain have never recovered from the closure of traditional industries coal mining, steel making engineering and so on.
